I was thrilled to see that Mack finally has
a GREAT webpage! Congratulations. I've been a Mack
"groupie" for many years -- starting with Mack
and the Hard Travelers in Annapolis and the Cystic Fibrosis fundraising
concerts. A more beautiful voice, a more captivating personality, a more
talented and feeling songwriter, and a more genuinely good and loving person
you'll never find anywhere! If you haven't spent an evening (or a day) listening
to Mack Bailey you need to give yourself a
wonderful gift -- check his schedule here on his website and go hear him. Carol

I thoroughly enjoyed your program at the Rams' Head in Annapolis yesterday.
Perhaps because my husband (and Larry's Dad) died a year ago today, I was
particularly touched by a song which probably is named "Without You". I looked
for it on your CDs but either I missed it or you have not recorded it yet. You

Dear Mack, I can't believe how quickly you
responded especially since I had inadvertently omitted my name. I took time this
a.m. to listen to the CDs I had picked up in Annapolis and sure enough, Time to
Time is the song I was trying to recall. Isn't it interesting how my brain
failed to register the phrase" time to time: yet I heard every "without you". I
guess that is what performers are referring to when they talk about what the
audience brings to a program. Thank you again, keep working, good luck, and God

Hi there,
I already have some of your recordings, and I must say I will be very curious
to hear your rendition of "The Wandering Soul", which I find one of the best
songs John Denver has written. One remark thereto, however, because it has
already been recorded, albeit not by John himself. The first professional studio
recording was made by John Adams back in 1998 already. Just a little background
information...

get good and bad anywhere but I have found the people of CA are warm as the

Hi Mack! My husband works in San Francisco
and he called me from work and said "guess what happened on the way to work?" He
told me that he was listening to the radio in the car and it was the start of
the A's vs Orioles game. They asked all to stand as they heard the National
Anthem sung by Mack Bailey!! My husband said
he listened closely and sure enough it was THE Mack
Bailey and not just someone who happened to have the same name. He said
he wished he would have had his cell phone so he could have held it to the radio
so I could listen too!! That was so cool to have him get to hear you way out in
California!! I got on the phone and had to tell Marcia...I can't wait to get to
hear you on our local radio station here in Idaho!! I KNOW that one day that
will happen....I will turn on my radio and you will be there singing to me and I
will call the station and say "hey that guy has a great voice!!! Play more of
his stuff!!" :-) Hope you are well...see you soon in Aspen!! Hey, I'm thinking

Hi Mack. Just wanted to tell you I just
received a CD you made with Mollie Weaver == Wish You Were Here. It is so
beautiful. It's a wonderful tribute to John's music abilities, and trying to
keep his memory and music alive for the rest of us still down here. You picked
some of my favorites, and of course, Mollie has the voice of an angel. I only
wish you would both have been in the play in Denver "Almost Heaven". I saw both
last year's production, and this year's, and you could have sung rings around
those performers. Keep America Singing John's Music!!! Sincerely, Mrs. Jean

Hi Mack, I read the lyrics of your songs
and they are great poetry. As a poet myself, I have always realized that
songwriters are among the best of poets, as is evidenced in your lyrics. I did
not see on any of your pages how one can boy any of your recordings. I would
like that information as I would like to hear the words of your poetry sung. I
heard the one being sung on this page and you have a great voice. AS with
writers trying to get a novel published as I am, so it is with singers trying to
make it big. It is just a shame that one can hear musicians in house bands in
clubs who are so much better than many of the singers and musicians whose music
make it big and though you may not fit in that category, I am sure many
relatively unknown (to the general public) musicians/songwriters such as you fit
into that general description. However, I came to 'know' you when I tried to go
online and find out something about a Tim Malchek or Malchak who had a song in
the late 80s or early 90's named "Goes Without Saying" or "It Goes Without
Saying." That song was played a lot on stations in NC for a short period and
then disappeared from sight. Since there is a Tim Malchak listed in this link, I
am wondering if that might be the same singer. I would appreciate it if you
would let me know and if it is that same singe, if you would let me know how I
can find out more about him. I have to wonder why that name is listed on your
link, but there seems to be nothing else on him on any of the website. Again,
let me know if you have CD's of your music available and if so, how to go about
buying it.
Thanks for any help you may give me on Tim Malchak and my best wishes to you
in all your endeavors. My congratulations on a great website.

Saw you when you appeared with the Hard Travelers many years ago in Pasadena,
MD. (Wow, that was about 12 years ago!) Going through my tapes to determine
which ones to turn into CDs, I ran across one of yours called "Just Another
Thursday Night". I haven't played my tapes for a long time, and now I remember
why I bought yours. We live in Colorado now and I see you'll be coming here this
year. I hope we can get to see you once again in person and hear you sing "Rock
Me Grandpa". Still a fan after all these years! Gail

enjoyed your concert with Chris Nole at Swallow Hill in Denver. I have heard you
many times with large bands, but this intimate setting gave you and your
beautiful voice a chance to shine! I brought some new "fans" and they loved the
concert also. We'll see you at the Wheeler! Thanks for allowing John's songs to

They're fantastic. I'm a singer, too, and share your thoughts on the subject.

Hi Mack!
I see from the JD website that Chris Nole is going to be selling the CD "Live at the Casa" recorded on New Year's Eve last year in Scottsdale, Az. Wasn't that the one you played at too? Can I get a copy of the CD from you or just from Chris? As Sue and I aren't getting to Aspen this year, we don't want to miss out on anything!!!!
Any news on Ireland 2005 yet? I hope all is well - I look forward to hearing any news on either.

Hi Mack,
Seeing, hearing and meeting you at Fiddler's Dream here in Phoenix last nite was a treat. [0ct 04] I look forward to hearing you with the Limeliters in Dec. I LOVE the
Limeliters and my Dad has the original record, first record they recorded. Your voice is amazing, but more thrilling is our kinship in Christ.
Your CD 'Why I'm Here' is fantastic. I LOVE 'Come, O Thou Traveler Unknown'. Say Hi to L and C. I pray new vistas for you. God bless you and yours.

Dear Mack-Thank you again for a wonderful evening. I cannot think of a better way to start out the New Year then having you and all the guys touch our hearts. You sing from your heart and I feel that. And yes it is ABOUT TIME! Thank you for all that you do and all the work that goes into the New Year's Party. It is definitely a magical evening. A feeling of great peace at a time that it was needed. God's hands are in this that makes it special. Bless you all! Plus the act of giving at this event brings great contentment to our lives. If we all do our part we soon live in a richer world. Continue to live from your heart. Opportunity exists everywhere. Mack-A message for you for the New Year-By the work that you do you grow and you bring light into the world. Direct your positive thoughts as you participate in the flow of peace for the world. Hope to see you again soon. May each step on your path a mist rise with a beautiful fragrance!

Mack Bailey, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your part in the Songs for Sarah Benefit in Wrightsville Beach this past weekend. I thank you for your patience with us (amateurs) and your wisdom to realize who and what this was really about. Maybe twenty years have passed since we really knew each other, but you are a friend for life. Your music inspired me then and continues to inspire me. You know that I wish you everything that you have dreamed of and I truly think that this is your year! Keep loving what you do and allowing others to love it too. Thank you for Sarah's Smile. I will never forget the experience nor her face while you were singing it. Continue to find the meaning in each day. I love ya!

I also want to send you a heartfelt thank you for being part of that special evening. My niece, Sarah, is truly a bright light in all of our lives and it was so moving to see her face as you sang "her" song. Hello Mack, I was at the Fret House in Covina, CA on 3/12/05 and can't remember when I enjoyed an evening out more. We had front row seats for the Limeliters concert and hearing you sing "Danny Boy" was a thrill. My husband said you have "perfect pitch". Let us know when you'll be back in Southern California, as we will be sure to get tickets. I have a vintage website with a tribute to American Bandstand of the late 50s/early 60s. Many visit the site and I'm going to tell them all to go see your concerts. You're a terrific asset to the group! Hope you're having a wonderful time in Ireland.

Hello to Mack's visitors:
There are 68 of us here in Ireland with Mack. We are enjoying the scenery and the music, some of it traditional Irish. The first concert last night was super. Mack is joined by Kevin Brooks and John Sommers - both nice additions. More music tomorrow night. This tour seems to be the alcoholic's dream - first a tour of the Guiness Brewery, loads of drinking on St. Patty's day, pub visits, and today we had a tour of the Jamison whiskey distillery. Tomorrow, we go to another brewery. Burp!
We wish you all could join us. After we get back, check back here for photos of the trip.

I'm listening to 'Why I'm Here', purchased at the
concert at Fiddler's Dream last year. This is the first time I've sat and
listened, without working. I LOVE 'I Will Bring You Home' among others.
Like, 'Just Because'. That should be the anthem for the people waiting at
home for those in Iraq. I love Mack's voice and I love this CD. Are lyric
sheets and music available for church solos? Come back to Phoenix Mack.
Come back to Fiddler's Dream! Janine
