Celebrate of the magic of the winter solstice with the legendary Grammy winning music of John Denver. Along with your favorite Christmas classics, sing along with John ‘s fabled Take Me Home Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Leaving On a Jet Plane, Annie’s Song, Grandma’s Feather Bed, and many more. With 33 gold and platinum albums, John Denver remains one of the most beloved and best-selling artists of all time. The Library of Congress selected his Take Me Home Country Roads as one of the top ten songs in the history of popular music.
This special evening will feature Chris Nole, acclaimed Grammy winning pianist from John Denver’s band, and Mack Bailey, about whom legendary folk artist Tom Paxton said: “In it’s power, clarity, and shear beauty, Mack’s voice reminds me of no one more than my friend John Denver. I love to hear this man sing.”
